Shipping Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains how ADVINAMYA ASSOCIATES packs, dispatches, and delivers gemstones ordered from GemJyotish, and how you can follow a parcel on its way to you.

1. Where we ship

We currently ship across India only, including PIN-code serviceable areas reachable by our courier partners. A valid 6-digit PIN code and a mobile number are required at checkout, because the courier uses both to attempt delivery.

We do not ship to international addresses, and we do not currently forward parcels through a third-party address in India.

2. What shipping costs

No separate shipping charge is added at checkout — the amount you pay covers the stone, any lab certificate you selected, and delivery of the parcel to your address.

If a courier surcharge ever becomes necessary for a remote area, it is shown to you before payment is taken.

3. How long an order takes

  • Order confirmation. Your order is confirmed once the payment is verified by Razorpay. Until then nothing is packed.
  • Invoice and packing. A GST invoice is generated and the stone is matched against its certificate, photographed, and sealed for dispatch — normally within 2 working days of confirmation.
  • Dispatch. The parcel is handed to a courier partner with a tracking ID. Most orders leave us within 2–4 working days of confirmation.
  • Delivery. Typically 2–4 working days to major cities and 4–7 working days to the rest of India after dispatch. These are estimates, not guarantees — the courier's own network, weather, and local holidays decide the final day.

Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays. Festival and wedding-season peaks can add a day or two.

4. Tracking your parcel

When your order is dispatched, the courier name and tracking ID are recorded against it. You can see both, along with the delivery progress, in My Orders using the same Google account you checked out with. We also send the tracking details to you on request, and can notify you by message when the parcel is handed over.

Once the courier marks the parcel delivered, your order in My Orders changes to Delivered.

5. How a gemstone is packed

Each stone travels in a labelled, sealed pouch inside a padded box, with its lab certificate and invoice. Parcels are dispatched sealed and should arrive unopened.

  • Check the seal in front of the courier if you can. If a parcel arrives opened, crushed, or wet, note it on the delivery sheet or in a photograph before accepting it.
  • Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the outer parcel and inner packaging, so we can raise a claim and arrange a replacement or refund under our Refund Policy.

6. Changing your address

If you typed the address wrong or have moved, write to advinamyaassociates@gmail.com as soon as you can. Before dispatch we can correct the address. Once the parcel is with the courier, changes depend on that courier's network and may not be possible — the parcel may be returned to us instead.

7. If delivery is attempted and fails

Couriers usually make two or three attempts. If nobody is available, the PIN code is unserviceable, or the recipient refuses the parcel, it is held for a short period and then returned to us.

When a parcel comes back undelivered, we contact you to arrange redelivery or, if you no longer want the stone, refund the amount you paid once the parcel is received back in good order.

8. Delays outside our control

Strikes, floods, landslides, courier network disruptions, postal restrictions, and government orders can delay a parcel. Where that happens we keep you informed with the courier's latest status and wait it out with you — we do not treat such a delay as a reason to cancel a paid order without asking you first.
